  • Hey I just started to set up a site with yooco today.
    Beautiful theme!
But after adding parallax section i recognized somethings wrong on the iPhone.
    Screen is not used fully.
    What’s the problem?
    See page here: myweb.onlight-productions.com

Thank you, you’re doing an awesome job!

    And another question:
Is there a possibility to put a testimonial slider on a parallax?
If yes, how do I create those testimonial sliders?

The section show the image correctly, because the section is 400 pixel height. You can increase the height of the section or reduce the size of the text in the section.

For the testimonials you can add this shortcode instead of the text in the section:

    [testimonial_big_slider number=”5″]

You mean I have to increase height or smaller the font to make it visible on the iPhone?

Jup I know the shortcode, but how do I add pictures to that?:)

How can I install demo content?

    Ok. Now size works.
But the next problem is that the background picture parallax is only displayed where theres no text. So text has no background picture on the iPhone…

Jup I know the shortcode, but how do I add pictures to that?:)

    It’s always the featured image…

Can you send us a screenshot and the link to the page with the problem, because on our end it’s working…

Ok. But after I added an featured Image there is no Slide.
I can only add one of the featured Images. How can I make a Slider with only 1 picture? What do I get wrong?

    Thank You:)

We tested it and it’s working. What iphone do you use (version)? And what do you mean with featured image?=? The background image for the section?

    Did you see the screenshot?
    I’m on iPhone 6 with iOS 9.1.

What I meant was how do I add the pictures for the testimonial slider. You told me to do that with featured image. But how can I add more than one picture there?

    We will check it again…

Please go to WordPress admin -> Appearance -> Testimonials and create the testimonials there, please set for each entry a featured image! For the testimonials (also portfolio, team, …) it’s like for the blog: you need your entries and then you can show it on a summary page or with shortcodes.

Did you find out anything about the iPhone thing?
    It has to work.

    Ok. Thank you.
Now it worked but the pictures are buggy.
    What did I do wrong?
See Screenshot of all 3 types here: http://myweb.onlight-productions.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Bildschirmfoto-2015-12-04-um-20.04.26.png

    or on myweb.onlight-productions.com

    Thanks!

    What did I do wrong?

Thats the cropped image size for the portfolio entries. The only thing you can do is to cut the images to 100 x 100 pixel before you upload it. Normally the slider was made for testimonials (faces), so it doesnt matter if the images are round.

Did you find out anything about the iPhone thing?

We tested it again with different iphones and it’s always working. Can you try to set the shortcode option from

    bgrepeat=”no-repeat”

    to

    bgrepeat=”repeat-y”

    Maybe this solve the problem.

Ok. Thank you! This worked. Another question:
the menu icons are not displayed next to their menu text. Can I change that?

Normally this things you can always change with css. It’s on this website?

    http://myweb.onlight-productions.com/

Because we tested it in it seems all is working…

    Yay it is.

The buttons in mobile menu are too small and at the wrong place. You can test it on your iPhone.
