  • I see others have had this problem with other themes, but I can’t seem to find a solution.
In Tripsters>Portfolio, I imported the Demo content, and instead of maps, I get this error:

    Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.

I installed WP Google Maps plug-in, thinking this would fix or override the problem, but even in the plug-in, the error still displays.

I got a new API code from Google a few hours ago, and that’s saved in WP Google Maps, so that’s not the problem.

What’s the fix for this? Thanks.

    Hi,

it is important that the API key is valid for the domain, without restrictions. Please take a look at this tutorial, and remember: it is important to set it up exactly like in our tutorial, then it is working without any problem:

Google Maps Shortcode doesn’t work anymore

I forgot something: You don’t need to use our shortcode, you are free to use every other plugin, or the Google Iframe embed code, see Google Maps website, burger menu on top left -> Share & embed
