  • 1. Which page type do you use for the rooms (standard, junior suite, etc)? On your demo content the rooms are missing.
    2. Can you provide some instructions on how to set up the sliders correctly? I’ve imported the theme files and copied the shortcode exactly and they still have funny formatting after dozens of attempts. Here’s the most successful version: http://ginteawchiangmai.com/rooms-and-rates/mango/ But where can we see the different variations of slider types and settings?
    2. On the demo you have boxes on the homepage, how do I re-create those? Again, in the demo content these are missing.
    Thank you!

    Hi,

    1. Thats the single page template for rooms, you have to link to the pages in your menu

    2. The images in the page you’ve send us are to small, please upload pictures with a size of min 980 pixel widht, then it’s covering the full width of the slider. The rest looks like it’s working

    3. Hm, strange, I think there was a problem with the import. We’ve tested it on our server and all was importet completely. Here is the content from our home page:

    Hi, thanks for your answers.

    1. I don’t have a single page template option, see list of templates here: http://puu.sh/kBEAa/67fbb63279.png

    2. Is there a page with the slider settings & options listed, as well as what the options look like?

    3. So it looks like the three rooms are from this shortcode: [room_grid columns=”3″ items=”3″] but I don’t know how to implement that on my own site because I don’t have the room option available. (I actually added it to the homepage but nothing happened.)

    Thanks in advance!

    1. No, you cannot choose as page template. Please go to WordPress admin -> Appearance -> Menus, click the “Screen Options” tab on top right of the page, check all check boxes, then you can choose also the rooms for the menu.

    2. If you mean the different effects you can see it on the page of the jQuery plugin we’ve used:

    http://malsup.com/jquery/cycle/

    3. Have you already added and published rooms to your page? WP admin -> Rooms -> Add new / WP admin -> Reservations -> Resources?

    1. I don’t have rooms as an option for menus, see screenshot: http://puu.sh/kCGMs/63e1f36403.png

    2. Thanks!

    3. I don’t have a rooms option in the dashboard or under any of the menus:

    http://puu.sh/kCGQV/a0e3632670.png

Looks like you don’t have you installed and activated the necessary reservation plugin!?

Hi, I have installed the reservation plugin (although I don’t know for sure that I want to use it) but my room options are still not available…can you send instructions on where they should be?

You said: “Have you already added and published rooms to your page? WP admin -> Rooms -> Add new / WP admin -> Reservations -> Resources?”

I don’t have any room options under WP admin.

    Thanks again.

I don’t have any room options under WP admin.

Have you checked the second path? WP admin -> Reservations -> Resources? The author of the plugin has removed the admin menu entry for rooms, if you update the delivered theme then you can only use “WP ADMIN -> RESERVATIONS -> RESOURCES!

I do have that option but what are they, are those the room templates? Do you have instructions on how to use them and configure the options (such as group templates and all of the custom fields?)

I published a sample “resource” and I get a 404 when I try to view what it is: http://ginteawchiangmai.com/easy-rooms/sample-resource-one/

I’m a bit baffled why there isn’t just a room template like any other wordpress theme, what’s the refund policy if I can’t get this finalized asap?

You dont need to configure the options like custom fields, just add your rooms in WP admin and publish, then it’s working. If you get an error 404, then there is a problem with your server or a problem with your permalink settings.

Can you send us ( info @ 7theme . net ) the link to your website and a login, then we can check it in your backend and help you to solve the problem.

    Sent! Thank you.

    Got it, thank you

Regarding #2 above, why is the div 960 pixels on my slider here: http://ginteawchiangmai.com/rooms-and-rates/mango-room/

I’ve set the width to 640:
    [slideshow type=”cycle” width=”640″ height=”” effect=”scrollLeft” nav=”true” pause=”5000″ speed=”1000″]

I’m not sure what the different slideshow types are. Is there a gallery anywhere? Same with your shortcodes, I can’t find those on the demo or in the instructions.

    Thank you.

Also, what are the settings/options for the table shortcodes?

I inserted a basic table and the only option is a color but I can’t get columns or rows.

    Thanks.

How does the gallery work – where do the images come from? Any instructions or details on what the different types are and how to change the settings?
