Hi!
I’m using skyline theme and now I’d like to translate my website.
In the description of the theme its mentioned that100% Translation-ready!
Skyline comes with the .po/.mo language files included so you can easily translate your whole website into any language you want!So now I need to have another language version of the site.
As you suggested earlier, I installed and used Polylang for the content and menus, which worked well. But unfortunately I’m not able to translate real estate , property features, theme members forms, contact us forms, search plugin and several other installed features and plugins, which makes the whole translation senseless. Could you please advice, how can I translate the whole theme with its searches, maps, forms, etc.
I tried to change the language of the website in settings, unfortunately, is still didn’t change the mentioned above issues.
I also set the proper locale for both languages that I’ve set in Polylang, but it still says WordPress Locale for the language (for example: en_US). You will need to install the .mo file for this language.(though I thought, the’ve been pre-installed originally)Thank you in advance.
Hi,
as I told you before: translation-ready means you can translate the theme in any language, not in all languages.
Normally it’s the job of the plugin to translate the custom meta of posts and pages.
But unfortunately I’m not able to translate real estate , property features, theme members forms, contact us forms, search plugin and several other installed features and plugins, which makes the whole translation senseless. Could you please advice, how can I translate the whole theme with its searches, maps, forms, etc.
For installed plugins we are not responsible, and this have nothing to do with the theme. I think the problem is that you’ve not create the necessary .mo / .po files for your language, so this is the first job you have to do.
Hi!
I’m not asking about the installed plugin, as it works fine, as I said.
I only want to know how can I translate searches, maps, agent cards and forms. Thats only what I’m asking for.
The point is that I’m trying to make it in Russian as well, which is ALREADY installed, as its said in the admin. But it still doesnts translate search filter, object description, contact, etc.http://balistyle.villas/ru/estate/hawila-%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%BB%D0%BB%D0%B0/
Could you please give me directions, how can I translate those?
thxAh, ok, I thought you know how to make a wordpress translation. Please copy the files in the “language/” folder and rename it (use the language code), then translate it.
You can find more information also here:

I would appreciate if you could guide me on where can I find that folder.
Thank youThe folder is in the theme folder, i.e.
