Strong Theme: Can't Upload Media

Hi,

I am having an issue uploading new pictures (media) to my site and receive an error on the top of the page like “staff_mel.jpg HTTP error.”. I’ve checked the logs but nothing is written that I can see.

The file shows and it seems to have uploaded the picture but the actual thumbnail isn’t visible nor is it when I preview the picture. I see the picture is uploaded into the database and converted into multiple size-named files. It is very strange. I turned off plugins that I thought may be interfering and cleared my cache and still having an issue. It was fine about 2 weeks ago.

Any ideas?

Hi Angela,

a HTTP error is a problem with the server, not with the theme. The uploader is a WordPress core function and also this has nothing to do with the theme. I think you should contact your hosting provider for the problem, because with server issues we cannot help you.
