How to you try to install the update? You cannot upload it in WordPress, you have to upload it via FTP and overwrite the existing files.

If I’m using this shortcode: [person_grid category=”hostess”] I only get 1 person and not all that are in that category?

Yes I managed to update the theme using FTP.

With the shortcode I still have issues. Please have a look at this page https://escortkenya.online/person/piere/ A closer look at the sidebar please, yes it shows all from the category but so small that the mouse over is so big that it’s not usable. Rather would have them listed underneath eachother.

Than the picture issue. If you look at this page: https://escortkenya.online/smooth-slider/ the pictures I resized on Photoshop to the same size and quality. Still the theme does that with it.

what exactly is not working with the update? Do you get an error message?

Sidebar: The shortcode you used is a grid shortcode, you can choose between 2,3 and 4 columns, you can see this also in the theme documentation. You can try to reduce the shortcode from 3 to 2 columns, maybe then it’s better.

Slider: We checked your page, but cannot see a problem with the slider. We tried already chrome, firefox and mobile devices, but on our end all is working without any problem. What exactly is not working??

No no, the update worked fine.

Sidebar: I wnat to use 1 column cause with 2 it’s still to small and not all persons are shown then.

There is nothing wrong with the slider, I meant the pictures under Verified & Premium Escorts. They are all the same size and quality but still same are being blurred.

Next issue.

On https://escortkenya.online/ all of a sudden it shows a title (yes I hid it on the page settings) and the nice overlay with the slider has disappeared.

Also on the Homepage under ‘Verified &….’ I used this shortcode: [person_grid number=”10″ columns=”3″ category=”premium”] There are 4 persons in that category but it only shows 1 in very big.

Then on these pages: https://escortkenya.online/person-gender/female/ the images are so small that the mouse over is just to big.

Cause there are a lot of image issues, isn’t it an idea to build in a setting for images that works, cause I can do in the Theme settings what I want it just won’t change a thing?

Hi Paul,

as I told you before, “person_grid” is a grid shortcode with 2,3 or 4 columns, it’s not working with 1 column. You can use the “single_person” shortcode (see theme documentation) and insert the escort by id in the sidebar.

There is nothing wrong with the slider, I meant the pictures under Verified & Premium Escorts. They are all the same size and quality but still same are being blurred.

You changed the featured image size in the theme options, that’s why it’s blurred.

Please check exactly your shortcode. There is a very important difference between >> ” < < and >> ” < <. Please use shift + key "2" button on your keyboard for the >> ” < < sign, than it's working.

The original settings for the person images of the theme is larger, you changed the featured image size in WP admin -> Appearance -> Theme Options -> Image Sizes -> Thumbnails -> Person thumbnail, please choose a larger image size (currently you checked the smallest size, preset is “portrait”). You can see the bigger image sizes in our demo website, that’s the default image size and the theme come with this preseted size. Only if you change it, the theme use smaller images sizes for the featured image.

I tried the single person but than it doesn’t show anything. I used the ID out of the link, I don’t know where to find it elsewhere?

you made this right, the ID is the one in the url (when you edit the page / post / …). Have you checked the shortcode for the problem with the >> ” << signs?

When you edit a page or post, below the editor is a box with settings, there you can choose the “Slideshow” tab, choose the slider type and the source for the slider, then save the post / page. You can find this also in the theme documentation.

I didn’t change anything. It’s still on Smooth slider but it’s not showing the way it was before (like on your demo side). Also it’s not hiding the Title (and yes I selected the Hide Overheader, doesn’t work on any page by the way).

And yes I used that ID and yes I double checked the shortcode (I copy paste it from your manual) Shortcode used: [person_single_entry id=”1791″]

In the sidebar I set the folowing shortcode: [person_grid number=”10″ columns=”2″ category=”premium”] but it still keeps on showing 3 columns.

Paul, please check your shortcodes!! Especially the >> ” << signs. Please delete them manually and add them with your keyboard. When you copy and past it from the documentation, WordPress will replace the ” signs for security reasons.
