Shortcode generator insert button isn't working

Hello,

I just bought Orion and the shortcode generator insert button isn’t working for items in the content category, e.g., tagline. It is working for at least some of the other categories, though. I tried deactivating all of my plugins and clearing the cache, but that hasn’t helped.

If I had a list of shortcodes I would be able to manually enter them (it would also be very helpful when trying to add shortcodes to the fields in the Theme Options menu, as there is no generator for these fields). I know that you don’t want to offer a shortcode list, which is very frustrating because of the above-mentioned problems I’ve encountered. Just saying…

sorry for the trouble, we will check the problem with the shortcode generator.

That’s not the truth, we made the shortcode generator to make it easier to use the shortcodes. All our themes comes with different shortcodes, it is much easier to offer a shortcode generator as the list with shortcodes. Our first themes we made come with the list of shortcodes, then user told us it is not user-friendly, only thing they need is a shortcode generator, and that’s why we added the generator. I’ll talk to our developer team if we could find a way to offer a list with shortcodes for each theme, but I think we need some time for it, because as I told you before, each theme comes with different shortcodes.

For the shortcode generator we will check the problem, I think there is nothing we could not solve.

we checked the generator, on our end all is working without any problem.

Yes, I’m using the most recent version of WordPress. The shortcode generator isn’t working for me for the content options. It is working for at least some of the other options…

[Also, regarding the shortcodes list…like I mentioned above, when I’m in the theme options area there isn’t a shortcode generator. So in order to use shortcodes there I need to create a new page or post so that I can toggle the generator to see what the shortcode I need is. Then I copy this shortcode, go back to the theme options area, paste the shortcode in the field, then go back and delete the page/post I had to create for the sole purpose of finding the right shortcode. It’s a frustrating hassle. Of course now that I cannot use the generator at all and because there isn’t a list, I have to get really creative for accessing the shortcodes. That is all…]

Do you mean (when you say “content options”) the content tab in the shortcode generator? Do you think you can send us link + login ( info @ 7theme . net ) for your website, then we can take a look at it.

Also, please note that the slider tab in the shortcodes generator isn’t working, either. Maybe more aren’t – I haven’t checked all of them…
