I’m attempting to update the background image and logo through the theme options. I can select the image fine using the dialog upload/choose media section, however the links never appear in the box and the images are never applied to those areas. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

i think you use plugins, right? Because some plugins change the default WordPress settings for the media popup. It is important that the “URL” button is clicked / checked in the media popup, see screenshot:

I’ve uploaded the image through WordPress and want to choose it from the media library. This is also a problem with changing the background. Again, is this a bug in the theme? Is using the URL the only way? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the image uploader if I have to hard code the image?

No, if you click the “URL” button it will work, please check the screenshot from our first answer!
