KingPin Template Errors

Hello,

I just today purchased your Kingpin template and installed it on a new fresh WordPress install. Once I activated it there was all sorts of errors in the admin. If you go here http://www.server7.cpcom.com/newdanvillebowl/wp-login.php you will see two errors and if you logged in you would see many more. I thought I’d try and test installing it on another server and the same thing happened. If you need login info please let me know where to give it to you in a private mode.

Hi,

I’m sorry, but that’s not a problem with the theme, it’s a problem with the server settings! On your server is not set the output buffering in the php.ini file, that’s what causes the problem. We added now a workaround to the theme to prevent the error messages, but you should really talk to your hosting provider because this can always happen i.e. when you install a new plugin.

We uploaded version 1.02 with the fix, you can use the new version.

Well thank you for the fast response and the version 1.02 fixed the problem. Do you have a child theme?

We develop many websites for clients and have used TemplateMonster and ThemeForest and others and just found your company today and look forward to trying the various templates that you sell.

Hi,

I’m sorry, we don’t have a child-theme for the theme, but normally you don’t need it. All changes you made in the theme options are saved in the database, for your custom CSS you can use the options in WP admin -> Appearance -> Theme Options -> General -> Extra CSS Content, also this is saved in the database and an update will not affect the changes you made.
