    Is there any reason why the Yoast SEO plugin would not work with this theme?

    The codes are not being pulled into the template.

    Hi,

    the plugin has nothing to do with the theme. Yoast SEO insert the meta tags with the wp_head hook, and of course this hook / action is included in all our themes. Have you installed a cache plugin? Maybe you have to delete the cache before your changes are visible…
