  • I have version 1.01 of the Skyline theme. I understand the latest version is actually 1.04. As I indicated in separate e-mail, I originally purchased the theme through Mojo Marketplace. As per your response, I went to Mojo Marketplace and downloaded the version they have there. It does not appear to be 1.04 because all the dates on the files were 2013, and I believe the 1.04 version of the theme came out in Dec. 2014.

I opened a ticket with Mojo Marketplace and further is the response I received. They indicate I should go back to the developer of the theme. Hence this, post to the forum.

How do I get the latest version of the Skyline theme? Also, is there a list of changes/updates somewhere?

Also a secondary question as I work to secure our website. Is there defensive code in the Skyline theme to prevent SQL injection?

    Many Thanks!
    Denise

    Mojo Marketplace Response:

    Hi there,

Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.

There are times when a developer will release an update for their theme and it never reaches MOJO. Unfortunately we have no control over what developers do with their themes outside of MOJO.

However I can tell you that when you re-download the theme files you automatically have the most current version that MOJO provides.

If you contact the developer of the theme, they may have a way to get you the updated files. You can find their support forum here: https://www.mojomarketplace.com/item/skyline-real-estate-wordpress-theme

My apologies… Actually, I just carefully went through the zip file again that I downloaded from Mojo Themes on March 14th and it does appear that this is version 1.04. I had to dig a bit deep but I found files from Feb. 2015. Therefore the primary item from my post above is resolved.

I still do have the question regarding whether there is defensive code in the Skyline theme to prevent SQL injection on pages such as contact forms. If not, I’ll have to do a bit of research with regard to this. Being WordPress in general seems to be a primary target for hackers currently, I want to be sure the site is as secure as possible before I bring it on line again.

    Any/all guidance appreciated!

    Many Thanks!
    Denise

    Hi Denise,

no worry, the contact form is secure, and the theme dont save the request in the database.

    Much Thanks!

    Denise

    You’re welcome!
