Hellas Theme

Good evening,

i am using the Hellas Theme. Since my hoster updated to PHP7.2 is got tons of these create_function errors.
Until the 3rd of December i am able to go back to PHP 7.0 where everything works fine.

Is there a newer Version than 1.02?

Hi xennor,

thank you for your post. At the moment we do updates for all our themes, also for the Hellas theme. We will upload the updates in the next days. In the meantime, you can ask your hosting provider to remove PHP errors and warnings from your website, this will remove also the warnings.

Good Morning!

My Hoster set his PHP Version to 7.2 (or higher). Yesterday i updated the Hellas Theme (overwritten the files via ftp) and im still getting the Errors like:

“Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated in /customers/3/3/a/{replaced_domain}/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/hellas/7league/7league_functions.php on line 2180 Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements…”

Any suggestions what to do?

Hi, no. Theres a bunch of Erors like this. At first the Page was almost working properly (some content was missing), just showing these errors.

After updating the theme, nothing from the page is left, showing only the these errors:

Ok, we will take a look at it. Are you sure that you have overwritten all existing files?

We tested it today again on our server, but there is no problem. As soon we try it with version 1.03 we get exactly the same errors. Can you please try this: please delete your browser cache to make sure you don’t download the cached theme file. Then download again the theme in your account here, unzip it and upload it again with FTP, always overwriting the existing theme files.

Hey, thanks for your reply.

Im surely have no cached download files (if this may exist). I downloaded the 1.04 on different days with the correct filenames (Hellas 1.04). The files in this zip were old and still got the “create_function” which cause the error.

The “new” 1.04 has modified files from the 18th December… So it seems to me you just messed up the first version 1.04, built a new one and blame me for not overwriting correctly or having files in a mysterious download cache.

Anyway, the new 1.04 version is working properly. Thank you for this.

Next time i recommend you to admit that you’re late with updating or made a mistake by zipping the new version or something.

I told you what a developer told me, but I’ll check it again for you. However, I’m glad it’s working now. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do to help.
