  • For security reasons, my hosting has xmlrpc disabled by default. Is this the cause of why the Contact Forms don’t work?
In trying to troubleshoot why (with limited support here and now no more response from this thread
    http://7theme.net/forums/topic/form-via-shortcode-contact-not-sending-email-settings-are-where/ )

I found the following in the error console, along with everything posted in the above thread. (sensitive data changed)

     Server: Apache
    X-Pingback: http://thevillageatcarrollpark.com/xmlrpc.php
    Link: <http://notmyrealdomain.com/wp-json/>; rel="https://api.w.org/", <http://notmyrealdomain.com/?p=59>; rel=shortlink
    Content-Length: 0
    Connection: close
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8

Why would a contact form that is simply sending an email use xmlrpc ?

Again, I found these Server error logs repeatedly
    [Mon Aug 28 20:42:17.109453 2017] [access_compat:error] [pid 27049] [client 000.000.000.000:51371] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /home/sitename/public_html/xmlrpc.php

I suspect this is the cause for breaking the Forms POST call to
    POST http://notmyrealdomain.com/wp-content/themes/goldencare/7league/ajax.php
    Please help!

Please don’t add double post for one topic, it is enough to open one topic.

The theme is already updated to solve the problem, some weeks ago we upload the fix for the problem.

And it has nothing to do with the xmlrpc.php file, but it is great that your hosting provider block the file for security reasons, it is highly recommended!

Thanks. I just checked, you are right. Seems it’s the only theme out of all of them I didn’t have the current version for.
