Duplicate images in portfolio gallery -

I am using the Eastend theme. I have set up a portfolio using one featured image per portfolio item. When I view my portfolio, all looks good, but when I click on a portfolio image, the images in the gallery that comes up are duplicated. Each featured image is shown twice in the thumbnail bar.

Please advise.
