  • Hi,

I’ve just installed the Divengo theme on a fresh WP 3.8.1 installation and am having some issues with the slider settings. The Fullwidth Slider, Home, Home flexslider boxed, and Smooth slider Front pages don’t contain any slide content, and in some cases (Home) just hangs when loading. I have uploaded the demo XML file and set some slides up through Allslider but am unsure which of these templates even use that specific slider.

Maybe there is a known issue with 3.8.1? I’d appreciate some guidance either way, as nothing in the provided documentation led me to believe I’m doing anything wrong.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

thank you for purchasing Divengo theme. Sadly the WordPress importer does not import the slideshow content / images for the slider.

Solution: go to WordPress admin -> Appearance -> Allslider and upload some pictures. Then create a “pictureset” (below the upload), e.g. “Home” it’s like a category for the slideshow. Below the “Picturesets” is a list with all your uploaded images, here can you choose the “pictureset” for each of them.

Then, go to the page (editmode) you want to show a slideshow. Below the editor is a box with additional settings, open the “slideshow” tab. Here can you choose which slider you want to display and the “pictureset”, e.g. “Home”.

I have done this and still cannot get the slider to display the pictures.
    What next?

    Hi Nathanveirs,

please make sure you are using a name without white space for the “pictureset”, like “home” or “home-page”. WordPress cant save picturesets with a white space, use “-” or “_” instead.

Let me know if it wasn’t the problem.
