  • Hi,

I have bought 5 licences of your Seaview theme and initially, when I tried to install it told me that it was missing the style.css file. I found the file so I did not use the usual wordpress install but FTP-ed it. It worked. But now I cant save the Menu. I have created a menu and it is not saving. You say: Your theme folder name is too long. WordPress can’t handle too long theme folder names, and this is a typical error. Please rename your folder from e.g. “mytheme-is-a-mega-super-theme” to “mytheme”. If you don’t know how to rename the theme folder, please contact us. But I tried to change the name of the file on my server and the whole sited disappeared and my server told me that it was an error. So I went back and put the file name as it was before. Look, I paid $196 for the 5 licences so I am hoping you can help me out on this
    Thank you
    Ella

    Hi,

thank you for the purchase. You know how to work with FTP right? Then just open the website via FTP and rename the theme folder, its located in “wp-content/themes/”. Just choose a name like “seaview” or “mytheme”, then its working.
