Can't find Theme Option on backend

I installed a theme for my wordpress site following documentation. But I can’t see the Theme Option under appearance. we do not modify WordPress, or do anything to restrict permissions. I have checked the installation and it appears fine.
I activated the “hot” theme and although I can see a reference to “going” to the theme options page in the FAQ, but this page is obviously not showing.

do you use a “one-click-install” version of WordPress? Because most of the hosting companies don’t give you the full rights for those installations, see also this post here:

Can you see this link: WP Admin -> Apperance -> Editor? If not, it’s the problem with the “one-click” installed WP version…
