Cannot access Violet Theme Options Page

I cannot access the theme options page for this plugin. This is the message i get when i try to access the theme page, “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” i have deactivated all the plugins and still get message. please help. site is live and need changes.

Hi George,

looks like you don’t have all admin rights for your WordPress installation. Have you installed the original version from wordpress.org or a “one-click-installation” from your hosting provider?

Hi, I installed it using the original version from wordpress.org. How can i resolve this? Do I need to reinstall my wordpress installation or the theme?

Hi,

if you use the original version from WordPress.org I don’t think you need to install it again. But I’m really sure you don’t have the full admin rights for your installation. Can you see (and use) this link:

WP admin -> Appearance -> Editor?
