I dont think that the german version is the problem, I think the hosting company is the problem. Its 1&1 right? (Are you from germany? We can also speak german…)

As I wrote you already via mail, some hosting companies offer one-click installations for WordPress, and some of them dont give you the full admin rights with the auto installation, so you can use things like “edit theme” or our theme options. Please let me know if its an one click installation
